Slimming down the library
I have been going through my cd collection to load into itunes now that I have an ipod. Tedious work it turns out, but also a fun stroll down memory lane. Stumbling across cd's from throughout the years has had a disappointing end though. Some of the cd's just don't do it for me anymore. I find myself skipping through song after song to find "the one" (the reason I bought the cd in the first place) and then realize I passed it 3 songs ago. But then I realize it just means less I have to rip to my library.

I have the same problem. But sometimes I find it refreshing to hear something come up randomly from Jared's ipod that I had no idea he included in his vast collection. For example, last night "song for the dumped" came on and I just smiled singing every word (including the bad ones). So don't worry, just because you don't crave hearing the music anymore doesn't mean a random listening wont make you smile once in a while.
give me my money back!
