Is it Bigger than a Breadbox?

Jaime and I just got back from an awesome night out to celebrate Valentine's Day. Our friends, Ann and Tyler babysat the boys while we went out to dinner at the River Company. They even took the boys bowling at RU while we were gone. How amazing is that? Tomorrow night their kids are coming over while they go out. I love the babysitting swap...so liberating.

Anyway, we exchanged our gifts to each other after dinner. She always seems to outgift me. My favorite was a little message on a card that she wrote to me. Obviously I have always loved Jaime but when your wife hovers at the brink of death and survives, you seem to feel closer than ever before. This is not perhaps the most appropriate forum to say this, but I love you babe.

Here is the breakdown of the booty Jaime gave me;)

It's an actual breadbox and I love it. I have been pining away for a breadbox for over a year now and she got this one for me.

Oh how I love Trivial Pursuit and you can actually eat this chocolate version of the game.

She also had this awesome print done with a quote from one of our favorite songs. Go Avett Brothers!

Heres to many happy years ahead.

No-this time Jack out gifted me. I broke my camera taking pics of the kids sledding and dropped it on the ice. It broke instantly. This is of course, after I also dropped it on 2 different trips to Dollywood. So he got me a new camera!!
Beth-click on the video link, great song!
"If it's the beaches
If it's the beaches' sands you want
Then you will have them
If it's the mountains' bending rivers
Then you will have them
If it's the wish to run away
Then I will grant it"

Those are fabulous gifts! I never thought a bread box could be so attractive. I love the framed pictures with the lovely lyrics...and Trivial Pursuit you can eat?! Shut the front door!!

Yeah...my supposed near death experience was not anything as near death as Jaime's (I was safely tucked away in the hospital the whole time and under a watchful eye)...but Mike looks at me differently, now. He keeps saying how grateful he is that I didnt' stroke out or something and how he couldn't live without me. I am not going to stage another near death experience, though. Too labor intensive ;)

You both are such wonderful examples of what spouses should be for each other.

Whoa, a camera ain't too shabby, either.
