Hawlllaahhhh!!

Or should I say, "Challah!"
John said it best; "Put a onesie on that thing, it could be a baby!" Britt has been in town and we have been recipe swapping and it has been a delicious week thus far. This, however, might just push me to my limit.

That Challah bread is a true thing of beauty...I love Challah bread!

I totally laughed at the onesie comment. It kind of reminded me of when John was still in the NICU and was about to be released. (He had just grown to 5 pounds in weight.) Well, the boys were watching Man vs. Food on TV with Mike one night and the host was trying to eat a 5 pound burrito in the episode. Somebody, probably Evan, noted...that the burrito being consumed was as big as our baby. Infact, when the boys visited John in the NICU later that week and saw him swaddled tightly in the receiving blankets they said, "He LOOKS like the burrito!!"

Challah makes super fine French Toast, if you have any left!

Amber-that funny because guess the sole reason for making the challah? french toast with fresh strawberry almond syrup. and it was delish!

My best childhood friend was Jewish so I grew up with that bread. That looks perfect to me. Love when people compare babies to food-it's just funny.
