Lions and Tigers and Temples, Oh My!

Lionand Tiger
and Temple-oh my!
We had a lovely extended weekend and traveled to DC. Drove up a new way on TH night and avoided the inevitable 495 traffic jam. Fri we chose to go to the National Zoo as our "site" this visit. The boys were able to participate in temple related activities outside with their church leaders while Jack and I went inside the temple. Kudos to our stake primary who organized the supervision of 190 children for 4 hours.

Wow, what a great Stake Activity. I can't wait for our temple to open back up. It has been closed for over a year.

What love we felt for that primary president as we read of her great idea. Temple work done but young children being trained up to have happy memories and see how important the temple is to their parents.

That is so fabulous. I am in awe of the Stake Primary Presidency.

Steph said she saw Jill and Kelly. (Steph was there with her YW doing baptisms.)

I love the FAQ link about temples. That is a great idea.
