Bounce! Bounce! Bounce Right Back On You!

(A little Ho-Jo shout out--that's Howard Jones, not Howard Johnson Motels)

McHarg Elementary had their 50th Anniversary so they brought in several of the large bouncing play toys and opened it free to the community. The boys loved it--my favorite was the oversized hamburger trampoline aptly called, "The Whopper Hopper!" (sorry no pic of that one)

It was here are the school that for the 1st time in NINE years I have ever lost a child. It was the worst feeling I have ever had in my life. I was lifting Gray up onto the apparatus when I put Sawyer down at my side. I then proceeded to take these two pics. I casually put the camaera in my pocket and looked down to see Sawyer and he was gone. No where in sight! I was in a panic and started running around akeing if anyone has seen a little walking baby. Picture a community event with 100's of kids and parents in a sea of bounce! Everyone thought I was referring to Gray and they kept pointing to the slide telling me he was with Finn. It was then I had to inform them that no, I had yet a third son I was chasing. After probably no more than 2 minutes I saw him across the yard. He had wandered off to something he was big enough to do--the playground. It was then I realized I needed to let him do something. I also then realized that next time I will wait for Jack to get home before we leave, instead of meeting us there!

Thanks for the post Jaime. The sideways photo was driving me a littl ecrazy so I decided to flip it. I still look like a cartoon version of myself though.

Hi guys. I love seeing pics of you and your boys. Matt said he got an email from Jack the other day. I want to hear about your trip to Paris and Iceland. How did you come up with the combination? Sounds amazing!
